Are your products your own designs?
The majority of the items in our store are 100% our own designs. However we also stock a small selection of products that have both our own and our wholesalers creative input.
Our entire Geometric Collection including our Dinosaurs, and Woodland Animals are original designs created by Hunter & Lola - and are subject to copyright.We're proud to be home of the original animal-eared stacking rainbows. Our Fox, Bear, and Unicorn rainbow stackers are original designs by Hunter & Lola, and are subject to copyright. Our Galaxy, Rainbow, Mermaid, Woodland and Arctic collections all include original design concepts and artwork by Hunter & Lola. And are all made using FSC Certified materials. All of our pennants are also designed in-house by us, however we use a series of reknowned quotes/phrases, and/or pre-made craft items from our wholesaler to produce these particular products.We do not knowingly reproduce anyone elses designs or products, and aim to be original as much as possible with our designs. However a small number of our items such as our various cloud products and arrow dreamcatchers are purchased from a wholesaler, and therefore may be similar to other stores using this same supplier.What materials do you use?
At Hunter & Lola, we only use the very best materials to create our products
All of our freestanding decor is made from solid FSC Certified wood - either pine, beechwood, or poplar/rubberwood. And is sourced from UK or European forests. All of our other wooden decor including accessories, clocks, pennants, and plaques are all made from FSC certified premium birch plywood We DO NOT use any form of mdf to make our productsOur felt ball products are all made using 100% New Zealand wool, that is dyed using non-toxic, AZO-free colourantsAll of our cords and strings are the highest quality cotton or faux suede.What colour paints do you offer?
We have a wide selection of paint colours available in matt, metallic and glitter finishes.

Are your paints child-friendly?
Yes! All of our products are painted using non-toxic, water-based acrylic paints. Additionally, our various craft mediums including glitters, textured pastes, and embossing powders/mousses are all non-toxic and water-based.
All of our craft mediums comply with both EU safety testing regulations, and US ACMI AP regulations.How do you protect your wooden products once painted?
Most of our products are left as they are after painting. However our solid wood decorations are sealed after painting using our own homemade beeswax polish. This helps protect the wood, and provides better longevity of the paint. They're then hand-buffed to a soft and satiny finish before posting.
What's in your beeswax polish?
Our beeswax polish is homemade using only two ingredients. 100% Organic Jojoba Oil, and Natural Beeswax.
At Hunter & Lola, we strive to support other local businesses as much as possible. Which is why our beeswax is obtained from a local Bee Keeper, who's swarms are located nearby our own home in North East Essex. The predominant crops surrounding these swarms are Starflowers (Borage varieties) and Oilseed Rape. Providing a distinctively sweet scent to our beeswax polish - Which smells lovely!
How do you support other businesses or services through your store?
Where possible, all of our products are sourced locally, from ethical and independent suppliers. We currently use only three suppliers for our raw materials, all of which are based in the UK. All of our wood products are designed and cut here in the UK.
Do you offer wholesale?
Hunter and Lola offers a wholesale service to retailers and boutiques of children's lifestyle brands around the world. We pride ourselves in offering a wide range of original and unique home decor products for children and adults alike. The majority of our products are 100% designed by us here at Hunter & Lola, and are made sustainably either in the UK, or Europe (our blocks are sourced from German forests). If you are interested in becoming a stockist of Hunter and Lola products, and would like to obtain our current wholesale catalogue and price list, please email us directly at: info@hunterandlola.com. Please note: We do not offer all products on our website at wholesale. Wholesale is available on selected Hunter and Lola own-branded products only. We do not offer wholesale for any lifestyle brands that we work with, nor do we offer a drop-shipping or commission based service.
What are your turnaround times?
HANDMADE ITEMS:
Unless otherwise stated, all Hunter & Lola branded products are handmade to order, and therefore the turnaround times can vary. Please see below for a guideline on turnaround times for our own handmade products: Felt ball garlands and accessories - typical turnaround time is 3-5 working days. However custom, or glitter garlands may take upto 14 working days. Prints - all prints are typically shipped within 2-3 working days Felt ball wreaths, mobiles and trees - please allow upto 21 working days Wooden decor (exc. name signs) - please allow upto 21 working days for any wooden decor to be made and dispatched. This does not include any items that are "left natural" i.e. unpainted. In these cases, if in stock, your item will be shipped within 3-5 working days Name and custom word signs - all name and custom word signs are ordered in specially. Therefore please allow upto 21 working days for these items to come in, and be painted. If the sign is to be left natural, then it will be shipped the next day after it arrives with us. This can take upto 3 weeks to arrive with us depending on time of year. If you require a handmade product sooner, please get in touch with us first so that we can see if we can accommodate. LIFESTYLE BRANDS: If your order only includes products from our lifestyle brands, then these will be shipped within 3-5 days - though typically sooner. The only exception to this is pre-order items, which the estimated shipping date will be available on the product page before you add to basket. Lifestyle brands include any products from the following brands (non Hunter & Lola branded products): All Books, Didi & Bud, Metoo & Melootka, Play & Go, Sass & Belle, Wee GalleryHow much is delivery?
Our shipping prices vary depending on the size of your order. But will cost no more than £3.95 within the UK.

How long will delivery take once it's made?
Standard Delivery in the UK is sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class, which takes approximately 2-5 working days from date of dispatch.
International shipping is available on all of our products via either Royal Mail International Signed, or Courier for larger orders. International shipping times are generally 5-7 working days from date of dispatch.
Please allow extra time when placing your order during Bank Holidays or Festive periods.
What if my item is lost or damaged during delivery?
We obtain proof of postage for all items sent, and cannot be held responsible for any loss of damage to products during delivery.
For any loss or damaged items, we recommend filing a claim with Royal Mail, who subject to circumstances, will compensate you for the full value of your order.
What about import taxes, or customs fees?
Hunter & Lola are not responsible for any import duties, taxes or other fees imposed on your order by your own country.
